also about teaching: with your heart, from your heart

Reading Andreea's lines, I realized once more why her students adore her: because she is teaching with her heart, from her heart. And this is an essential ingredient if you want to deliver quality language training. For sure it is mostly about studying hard, about keeping your knowledge updated, about constantly thinking about your students' communication needs, about developing and constantly improving the teaching materials. But all these are useless if one does not teach from the soul.

Romanian is a particular language; as it was stated in this blog before, there are no magic tricks for teaching it. And although I always said that grammar is like Maths, rigid and cold, learing Romanian will prove no success if you do not set aside your brain from time to time, and just let your heart follow the rythm... Pe-un picior de plai, pe- o gură de rai...
